Petrified Wood and Mexican Opal Necklace

Write a Review

This necklace is a part of my new series. I think of them as mid-century modern but I can also relate them to today's space races. I call them my satellite series.

The large stone is petrified wood with  agatized dry rot. The pattern is somewhat geometric and has some sparkle. The smaller satellite stone is a Mexican opal that picks up on the warm colors in the larger stone.

1 15/16" wide by 3" wide and 5/16" thick, set in sterling silver.

Suspended on a 6mm rubber cord with a sterling silver secure clasp.
